MedEdCentral has been developed as an online database of medical education information including terminology, publications, institutions, medical schools, associations and individuals. The database is the main output of the Transparency and Public Understanding of Medical Education Task Force of the MEDINE Thematic Network. The Task Force remit is to improve the transparency, clarity, and public understanding of medical education and its outcomes (undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education) within and outside the European Union.
The MedEdCentral database may be accessed by anyone. Built around the Wiki principle, registered users may contribute directly to many areas of the site, and may suggest additions to other areas. For information on how to use MedEdCentral and how you can contribute to this innovative project, please visit www.MedEdCentral.org
MEDINE is the Thematic Network on Medical Education in Europe which addresses educational, institutional and quality issues in European medical education. MEDINE is supported by the European Community. For further information on MEDINE and the other Task Forces, visit www.bris.ac.uk/medine/
