The STRATUS International Program in Clinical Simulation, based at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, provides healthcare professionals from around the world with training in simulation and medical education. With this knowledge, scholars return to their home countries with the skills needed to serve and lead in their own local healthcare systems. Core topic areas include adult learning theory, curriculum development, debriefing in simulation education, technical skills training, business models for simulation funding, simulation center design, center operations, formative and summative assessment, and research in simulation. Scholars also have time to work with faculty on specific areas of interest.
