  • The Ottawa Conference takes place every two years and brings together Professionals, Educators, Students, Institutions and Organisations from around the world to share new ideas and approaches on assessment and evaluation in health professions education. These topics are an important aspect of all healthcare professions, and we are joined at each Ottawa conference by individuals and organisations from a wide variety of specialisms and healthcare profession sectors. Like the AMEE conference, the goal of developing best practice and delivering excellence in assessment and evaluation in healthcare professions education is interdisciplinary with the potential to benefit everyone regardless of background.

As a hybrid conference you can take part in person and join us on location at the conference, or you can join in virtually from wherever you are in the world making it easy to connect with ottawa and the ideas on offer in the way that best suits you. Participants even have the option of delivering their presentations virtually in some formats, creating the opportunity for everyone to get involved, share, collaborate, and inspire!
At Ottawa you really get a world view of what is happening in medical and health professions assessment and evaluation
